Breaking News: Steven Bergwijn has joined Damac in a deal worth up to €15 million, according to reports.
The Dutch winger is set to join the Dubai-based club from Serie A side Inter Milan for a fee believed to be around €8 million.
Bergwijn made his Serie A debut for Inter last season and scored two goals in six appearances before being loaned out to Feyenoord in January.
He then returned to Inter on loan until the end of the season but was unable to make a significant impact and struggled with injuries.
Despite this, he remains highly rated by many and could be a key player for Damac as they look to strengthen their squad ahead of next season's Champions League campaign.
The move comes after Inter had reportedly rejected offers from several European clubs including Manchester United,Saudi Pro League Focus Juventus and Chelsea for Bergwijn.
The winger is expected to make his debut for Damac in the coming weeks, although it is unclear whether he will feature in any of their upcoming matches. However, he will undoubtedly be a valuable addition to the team and could help them achieve their ambitions of reaching the Champions League quarter-finals.
